May 2026 Election Results
Crinkly light blue background. In the middle in blue and grey letters reads "May 2026. Election Results." over a scrap of paper with a marked ballot bubble to the left. In the lower right corner is the black and white Oregon Futures Lab logo, and in the lower left are the white Oregon Futures Lab and red Color PAC logos.
This spring, Oregon Futures Lab & Color PAC got to work!
Together, OFL & Color PAC endorsed 15 progressive candidates of color running for public office throughout the state of Oregon. Out of the 15 endorsed candidates, 6 candidates ran for county commission positions, 5 for city council, and 4 for Oregon Metro Chamber. Oregon Futures Lab also launched and coordinated the May 2026 Switchboard, our centralized endorsement intake form. Last but not least, OFL also organized our first Wave of Change (WOC) cohort - a space for women and women of color county commission candidates to build community and find support in their campaigns.
In short - this past election cycle, OFL & Color PAC hit the ground running, and plan to keep up the momentum through November.
Thank you to the candidates who ran this last election. Elections are a critical part of building power and we also know that movement-building work starts before and goes beyond election cycles. Win, lose or runoff - we appreciate your dedication to our communities.
